My nightstand's lamp is an antique, it works electrically but also has a hole to use oil with it. This is the sound of me turning it off and on then unscrewing the cap on the hole. Could be used as interesting found-sound percussion, very similar to my oil drum sounds.

This series is done through layering and processing many samples of drum sounds i synthesised using various plugins namely xoxo's vst's and zynaddsubfx mixed with some old hardware samples i made a long time ago. There are 4 packs of the same series : perc snare kick and hats all using the same process.

Just some sample hits from my drum kit. I left them totally raw so you can add your own processing, reverbs, delays, whatever. The "just the room mic" could be especially fun to nuke, mangle and/or distort. I performed and recorded all of these samples in my studio. So slice & dice, hack & slash, scoop & loop, smash & bash. Make some noise!.

I've created this sample with voltage modulare. It's a pink noise with some spring reverb the note that i've played is a g.

Sm57 was set on the axis of a pearl bassdrum. Compressed a bit. Recorded with fr-2.

This is sound of a rolled paper slapping the lighting. You can use this sound like some percussion sound.

All this time i´ve been doing a ton of drum samples from almost every edm subgenre, so, i took a transient from a house club kick and a sub bass i made by miself, compressed the hell out of them, distorted the sub bass and added the special sauce, the izotope ozone 8 to make a cool jungle terror kick. Note: you can expect from now seeing drum sampples in this page!!!.

Another one of my heavy beat experiments i made with the amen break as the foundation. Mixed with some live drumming done by myself.

Using a bass drum module to get not that bassdrummy sounds. . . Combining this with different types of feedback. I didn't know how to end the recording, as you will notice. I'm using an analog delay and spring reverb. Maybe the ending in it self is interesting? i find it hard to "tag" this sound :-)how useless is this sound on a scale from 1 to 5? 5 is totally useless. . .

This is a recording of me beatboxing, this is the same beat as my other beatbox sound at 130 bpm but this time with a more heavy sound to it. Recorded with sony hdr pj260v then edited using audacity.

This is the sound of someone playing a bongo drum. I added reverb to it and slowed it down about -81 percent, but of course, you already know about that. Made with audacity and someone playing a bongo drum.

Two young men, one on a drum kit, his friend with a cow bell, improvising percussion in a square in copenhagen. Recorded with a hand-held mp3 player. After a few minutes, i walked away, so you'll hear the drumming get fainter and conversations of other pedestrians and shoppers in danish.

Recorded on a tascam msr16 4 claps two per track. There might be some low freq noise, since other instruments bleeded from other tracks of the machine, but thats why they are called "dirty drum samples" :) can be layerd to get a gang-clap. Free to use them whereever you want.

This is a 808 bass which i sampled from my novation drum station. The sample covers one full octave from c#0-c1. The sound was recorded through a yamaha m1516 which pretty much has the same circuit as a api. As you can hear it sounds pretty much the same as a roland 808. The drum station uses analog modeling so the sound is pretty nice. Feel free to use in your productions. There is no need to contact me if you release a track with this sample just enjoy.

Recorded a short drum and bass loops at 120-bpm using ableton live 9. 4 notes per bar played on bass in this order: a1 f1 c2 g1. This recording is designed for a mid-range frequency instrument, like a guitar, over the loop. Here was my attempt to simulate the kicks used by hip hop producer don cannon. Fully synthesized, no samples here. But, as stated in the title, i did gate the sound in order to get more attack.

This is the original 8-second drum loop that i ran through akaizer for my "sci-fi ambient drone" upload. It's creative commons cc0, so please treat it as public domain. You can use it in any commercial or non-commercial media for free, no restrictions. I took a quick 8-second drum loop from my teenage engineering po-33 (ko) and ran it through a free time-stretching/pitch-shifting program called akaizer. This program is based on old samplers like the akai s1000 that had extremely artifact-heavy time-stretching and pitch-shifting features. If you slow a sound down enough, the final product tends to sound harsh and electric. Akaizer turned my 8-second drum loop into 2 minutes and 38 seconds of harsh, bassy noise. As you can hear from my other uploads, the results are so different it's almost unrecognizable. Definitely worth trying yourself!.

I was able to amalgamate some audio together from the amen break to make it sound like the ride cymbal is actually longer than it actually is.

I created the beat using ableton. I recorded the guitar part on my fender strat, useing warping ableton to tighten up my playing. I used a peavey mic (away from comp will check model when i get home) going to a fast track ultra audio driver. Please credit me if you use it.
